GF GES 20

The pressed steel fifth wheel from SAF-HOLLAND is designed to enable long life and durability due to its robust construction.

The proven GF bearing concept based on the SK-S 36.20 series allows the combination of sliders, mounting plates and standard brackets.

Topload fixing, simple and easy handling, reasonably priced spare parts - the GES 20 offers the economical possibility, especially for the aftermarket.

Mounting plates and kits

Mounting plates are for connecting fifth wheels to the vehicle. They must be firmly connected to the frame construction of the tractor.

SAF-HOLLAND mounting plates enable the optimum use of the permissible overall height of commercial vehicles.

Slider SK-V 20

Sliders allow optimal utilisation of permissible axle loads and vehicle lengths.

They enable the coupling point of tractors to be changed quickly and easily. The fifth wheel can be secured in 14 different longitudinal positions, allowing the coupling of semi-trailers with different kingpin positions.

The slotted base rails with teeth and slotted rails are mounted directly to the supporting frame of the tractor. The carriage with the locking mechanism is designed for mounting fifth wheels with an overall height of 150-250 mm.

Convenient pneumatic operation by remote control

The remote control model of the SK-V 20 slider enables the optional coupling point to be adjusted quickly and conveniently. The adjusting mechanism of the slider carriage can be unlocked and moved via a pneumatic cylinder at the touch of a button in the driver`s cab.

Direct mounting

Both sides of the toothed strip are directly connected (force-fitted) to the auxiliary frame of the tractor trailer combination.
